We offer 2 or 3 day camping safaris.
Accommodation is in tents at our mainland camp, 10km north of Vilankulo.
Our beach camp is equipped with tents, camping mattresses, pillows, sleeping bags, lights, showers and ablutions.
The camp offers great views of the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Camping Safaris rates:
1 night/2 day = US$230 / ZAR 4,250 PP (based on minimum of 3 persons)
2 night/3 day = US$365 / ZAR 6750 PP (based on minimum of 3 persons)
Day 1
Depart for Magaruque Island, landing on the north point of the island. Snorkel on the base reef, explore the island.
After lunch set sail for camp, arriving late afternoon.
Day 2
Head to Bazaruto Island and explore the dunes of Ponta Dundo. Then on to 2-Mile Reef for snokeling (or diving by prior arrangement). If you are lucky, dugongs are sometimes seen in the channel between Bazaruto and Benguerra Island.
Seafood lunch on Bazaruto Island. Return to Vilankulo in the late afternoon.
Day 3
Another opportunity to snorkel at 2-Mile Reef and /or to explore Benguerra Island trails and lakes.
After lunch, set sail to Vilankulo, arriving late afternoon.
